Campaign Against Guardian and Other Unregulated Media

Michael Leidig, the founder of Quis Custodiet, announced the launch of a service to hold unregulated media outlets to account, following an eight-year dispute with BuzzFeed UK and The Guardian over allegations about his news agency that he says were false and were never corrected.
QC will assess complaints against media organisations that operate outside any regulator, measure the conduct complained of against the organisation's own published code, and publish a verdict within days.
Leidig said that the service is intended to give people harmed by unregulated media a route to redress, describing his own experience of The Guardian's Scott Trust rejecting his complaint without allowing him to present his evidence or to see the reasoning.
